Charities We Support

  • Pilgrim Hospice

    Pilgrims help people facing a terminal diagnosis and their families, to live well in every moment. Their work began 35 years ago, with the vision of one village nurse – now President Ann Robertson. Ann wanted to make a difference for the people in her community facing terminal illness. Thanks to her devotion and the help of countless others, today they have over 200 Pilgrims nurses and therapists. Together they support thousands of people in east Kent each year.

  • Thanet Disabled Riding Centre

    Thanet Disabled Riding centre has been established for approximately 40 years. It is in the grounds of Maurice house, Broadstairs. This charity helps children and adults who suffer from disabilities, by providing riding lessons and giving visitors time with horses. The centre is entirely self-funded and relies on donations.

  • Thanet Iceburg Project

    Thanet Iceburg currently oversees three main projects addresses a particular area of poverty. This charity helps from the provisions of meals and companionship through to household goods and furniture. Once the initial needs are met they are then able to take time to help our clients address the long term causes of their situation.

  • MNDA Association

    MNDA Association support people with motor neurone disease and fund research into the causes and treatment.

  • Gas Safe Charity

    Every year, poor gas work and faulty or old appliances cause accidental death or injury. Gas safe charity exist to keep those most at risk, safe from gas poisoning, fires and explosions and strive to reduce gas-related injury, illness and deaths.
